Short-Term Running Goals:

Recovering from micro-fracture surgery on my right knee.  I tore the cartilage off of my knee while doing a speed-training run one month before Boston.  Doc gave me a cortisone shot so that I was able to finish Boston.  After the surgery, I was told to never run again. :(

Long-Term Running Goals:

QUALIFIED FOR BOSTON! April 16, 2011 

Ran Boston on April 14, 2012!

Btw, 8.3 miles in pain? You weren't kidding when you said we were alike in that we'd both run through pain...

... from one injured runner to another: stop running for a wee bit and RICE!!! That's an order - lol!
