Short-Term Running Goals:
Recovering from micro-fracture surgery on my right knee. I tore the cartilage off of my knee while doing a speed-training run one month before Boston. Doc gave me a cortisone shot so that I was able to finish Boston. After the surgery, I was told to never run again. :(
Long-Term Running Goals:
QUALIFIED FOR BOSTON! April 16, 2011

Does every one who stayed in all winter have to be out jogging today??? I am stuck icing my knee on the most beautiful and warmest day so far this spring!!! I ran through snow storms, rain, freezing cold temps all winter and now they are enjoying my nice weather! BOO!!! haha!

Yes, yes, yes! I soooooo hate that. I have been going through that lately, too. In fact, I am getting groceries today (I got a wee run in, thank God) because tomorrow everyone will be out en masse and I won't be running and it is just horrible driving by... totally totally get this!
Having said this, stay tough. Chin up. Ice that knee! Don't you dare run yet. We're watching. :)
